Bookstores

One option is to Buy Your Books Online. You can of course come into the Pioneer Bookstore on the Jefferson or Shelby-Hoover Campus. Each store is owned and operated by the Nebraska Book Company.

These stores offer many products and services.

• New and used textbooks.
• Textbook buyback. The Pioneer Bookstore buys back textbooks from students at the end of each semester during finals. Times for this buy back are posted prominently around campus.
• Student supplies.
• Computer software. Academically priced computer software for students, faculty, and staff at greatly reduced prices. Most major software publishers are included in this program.
• Giftware and cards. A number of Jefferson State gift items are available from the bookstore. Hallmark greeting cards are also available from the bookstore.

These hours may vary at special times such as orientation, early registration, at the beginning of each semester, and during book buy back. Normally between semesters when there are no classes the Pioneer Bookstore does not open for night hours.

Fall Extended Hours

Extended hours are available during registration, the first week of classes and during book buy back. The last day for Fall Semester book refunds is August 30, 2010. The last day for scholarship charges for the Fall term will be September 3, 2010. No refund without a sales receipt.
