Registration Process
When can I register for an on-campus community education class?
We strongly encourage you to register as early as possible. Some courses
have limited enrollment and may fill quickly. Registration is accepted
on a first come-first served basis.

over the phone but, we do accept faxed credit card
information. Print, read directions and fax the Remember your
registration is incomplete until payment is received.

Refunds & Class Cancellation
- Jefferson State Community College reserves the right to
cancel courses
for any reason, including insufficient enrollment. If JSCC cancels a course
for which a student is registered, the student will automatically receive a
full refund. If the date and/or time of the course are changed by JSCC, the
student may request a refund by completing the "." The
"Withdrawal Form" must be received within three business days following the
date of the change notification.
- Jefferson State will not issue full or partial refunds for
classes which
have been cancelled, nor dismissed early due to inclement weather or other
circumstances beyond our control. We will make every effort to reschedule
such classes. Students should listen to the local media for information on
closings.
How do I withdraw from a class? -
Withdrawal Form LinkTo withdraw and receive a refund after registering, students must submit
a completed "Withdrawal Form" to the Center for Community and Corporate
Education at least ten business days in advance of the first day of class.
Refunds are less an Administrative Fee of five percent (5%) of the refund
amount. Students who register less than ten business days prior to the first
day of class waive their right to a refund except for insufficient
enrollment.
Please note: Once an on-line course is accessed either by requesting
materials or viewing lessons, there are no refunds for-on-line
training courses.
Course Transfers & Student Substitutions
Substitutions for students are welcome without penalty. To do
so, a "" must be received prior to or on the
original course's start date.
A student may transfer to another course of equal or lesser
value once. To do so, a "" must be completed
prior to or on the original course's start date. A student must
attend the course to which he/she transfers within the semester
that he/she originally registered in. If the student fails to
attend the class he/she transfers into, he/she forfeits the full
course registration fee. If the class is cancelled by JSCC for
any reason other than inclement weather, the student may
transfer a second time only.
How do I pay for a class?
Payment is due at the time of registration. Please note that
registration is not complete until full payment is received. Payments
may be made by VISA, MasterCard, Discover, check, money order, cash, or
company-sponsored purchase order/documentation. Make checks and money
orders payable to Jefferson State Community College. A written or verbal
confirmation of your registration will be forwarded to you upon
completion of the registration process.
