Dual Enrollment - Registration Process

Classes for High School Student Dual Enrollment and Accelerated Students

Students who plan to take courses at one of Jefferson State’s campuses or sites must attend one of the following registrations in order to be enrolled:

Jefferson Campus
Advising Center
Allen Library
Tuesday, August 5 (1:00pm – 4:30pm) 1 pm – 4:30pm
Shelby-Hoover Campus
Health Science Building 134
Wednesday August 6

1:00pm – 4:00pm

 

*Please note that regardless of which Jefferson State campus or site you plan to take classes; you must attend registration at one of these two times.

*If you are taking classes at your high school, the registration will occur during your school day at the high school. Ask your counselor for details.

*A new application for admission is required every term.

 Dual Enrollment Students

  • submit a completed application, including the superintendent and all other required signatures;
  • copy of ACT scores or placement test scores on file with Enrollment Services prior to enrollment (if planning to take math or English);
  • payment is due at the time of registration.

Accelerated Students must:

  • submit a completed application including all required signatures;
  • provide proof of a minimum composite score of 16 on the ACT to qualify for admission;.
  • have an official high school transcript on file at Jefferson State;
  • pay at the time of registration.
