Jefferson State’s EMS Program recently hosted a continuing education course, “Building High-Performance Resuscitation Teams” with Laerdal Medical.
Laerdal Medical instructors Scott Starrett and Paul Thompson led the class in techniques on how to improve the skills of first responders and hands-on training. Students represented a variety of local responders such as Center Point Fire Department, Hoover Fire Department, Pelham Fire Department, Alabaster City Schools, Medical West Hospital, Blount EMS, and Jefferson State.
