Accelerated Program

The Accelerated High School program allows qualified high school students the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school. Students must have completed the 10th grade and may not enroll in developmental courses (courses below 100 level), physical education courses, or audit courses.

Accelerated students must complete the high school prerequisites for the courses in which the student wants to enroll. For example: a student may not take English Composition until all required high school English courses have been completed. Accelerated high school students must also meet all course prerequisites prior to registration. Prerequisites may be met by achieving required minimum scores on the COMPASS Placement Test or ACT Test. See COMPASS Placement Testing for additional information. Click here for Placement Test Exemptions. Students may only apply by submitting a printed application.

Tuition & Fees

Registration is not complete until tuition and fees are paid in full. High school students enrolled in the accelerated program must pay normal tuition as required by the institution according to the Tuition and Fees schedule. Financial aid is not available to high school students. Students who participate in the PACT program may use PACT funds to pay for accelerate high school courses. In order to utilize PACT, students must contact PACT directly and activate their PACT account early. PACT students are also required to submit the PACT Authorization Form each semester.
