This is a list of estimated expenses for an international student at Jefferson State Community College. The following amounts are subject to change without notice and do not include dependant expenses.

This estimated cost is based on enrollment for two academic semesters per year. This estimate is for an average student who budgets well. Some students will find their expenses to be more while others may find that  they spend less. The estimated cost does not include international travel, automobile expenses, child-care services, or other additional costs.

Dependent (s) Information: If you wish to have your spouse and/or children accompany you to the U.S. during your studies, we encourage you to bring them with you when you first enter the U.S., provided that you or  your sponsor has sufficient funds to support your dependent (s). Add $ 3,000.00 per dependent per year.

Mandatory Health Insurance

It is required that each international student that holds or enter the U.S. with a student visa (F-1) purchase health insurance through Jefferson State Community College. No other health insurance policies will be accepted. Students will not be able to register for classes until proof of insurance is received and approved by the International Student  Services Office.
