Jefferson
- The Jefferson campus is located in the northeast section of Birmingham,
approximately 10 miles north of I-20/I-59, just off Highway 79 and Carson
Road and one mile west of Center Point. The beautiful, wooded 200 acre
campus is located in a suburban area. The college is built on one of the
highest elevations in Jefferson County. Almost a million people live in the
area served by the college.
Shelby-Hoover - The Shelby-Hoover Campus, located in Shelby
County on Valleydale Road, opened in January, 1993. This campus serves the
needs of students in the southern part of our service area. Here we offer
you an opportunity to complete your general education courses closer to
home. Courses which are taught at this site include: business, art and music
appreciation, biology and chemistry, computer and word processing,
agriculture, English, social sciences, mathematics, humanities, and speech.
More than 3500 students attend classes at this location.
St.
Clair-Pell City Center
- The Pell City Site, located in St. Clair off of I-20 East at exit 158.
This site opened in Fall of 2006 and serves the needs of students in the
eastern most part of our service area. Here we offer you an opportunity to
complete your general education courses closer to home. Courses which are
taught at this site include: business, art and music appreciation, biology
and chemistry, computer and word processing, agriculture, English, social
sciences, mathematics, humanities, and speech. To date, about 300 students
register to attend classes at this location.
Chilton-Clanton
Center - The Chilton County Site, is located in the
town of Clanton, Alabama. Travel South on I-65 to exit 212 to the giant
peach and take a right onto Lay Dam Road (Highway 145) and travel
approximately one mile. The site is on the left across from the Pumpkin
Patch.
This site serves the needs of students in the southern most part of our
service area. Here we offer you an opportunity to complete your general
education courses closer to home. Courses which are taught at this site
include: business, art and music appreciation, biology and chemistry,
computer and word processing, agriculture, English, social sciences,
mathematics, humanities, and speech.
