Summer scholarships are available for non-traditional students (students 25 years old or older, GED recipients or single parents at any age).
Scholarship Application Requirements:
1. Attend a FREE New Options seminar
2. Live within the city limits of the Birmingham (neighborhood children must be zoned for a Birmingham City school)
3. Show an economic need
4. Have a 2.0 or higher GPA
5. Have not received another scholarship for the summer term
6. Have not received a New Options Scholarship in the past
