The Jefferson State Speech Team recently performed at the Ross Bridge Renaissance Hotel during the Alabama Community College System Presidents Association banquet on October 14.
Students Atiyah Muhammad, Rich Quarles, and Jacob Humphries presented a reader’s theater on the topic of home and southern culture.
Each semester the team travels around the country to compete in individual events and IPDA debate. This semester the team will attend competitions at Middle Tennessee State University, Mississippi College, and The University of West Florida.
