Veterinary Technology

Continuation Requirements

In order to continue in the Veterinary Technology Program, the student must meet the following standards:

• Have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher in all completed Veterinary Technology courses at the end of each academic year.
• Maintain a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
• Maintain professional conduct as outlined in the Veterinary Technology Code of Ethics (a copy is enclosed).
• Earn a grade of "C" or higher in the summer preceptorship program.

Students who do not meet the requirements for continuation will be dismissed from the Veterinary Technology Program, but may be eligible to continue taking college courses. These students will not be eligible to register for veterinary technology courses until readmission into the program has been granted by the Program Admissions Committee.
