Who Should Apply as a Transient Student?
Transient Students are enrolled at another institution in good standing and want to take classes at Jefferson State to transfer back to their home institution.
How to be Admitted as a Transient Student
- Complete an application as a Transient Student
- Provide a Transient Letter
Transient Letter
A Transient Letter should be on letterhead and include the term the student is approved to attend, the courses the student is approved to take, and a school official signature. Transient Letters can be submitted in person at any campus, by mail, or to [email protected] as a PDF.
Financial Aid
Transient Students are not eligible for Financial Aid at Jefferson State.
- At the end of the term, Transient Students must complete the Request Official Transcript (Parchment) form to send the Jefferson State transcript to their home institution.
