Pioneer Pack and Dual Enrollment Scholarships
- All Dual Enrollment Scholarships include the Pioneer Pack textbook rental program.
- Students who opt out of the Pioneer Pack are responsible for purchasing the textbooks.
Ordering Pioneer Pack Materials
Students have two options for ordering Pioneer Pack Materials
- Check their alabama.edu email for an email from Jefferson State Pioneer Bookstore with the subject, “Action Required: Choose textbook pickup or shipping for Pioneer Pack.” Click “MAKE MY SELECTION” and login using your alabama.edu email and password to choose whether to pick up materials at the specified campus bookstore or have them shipped.
- Go to the Jefferson State Pioneer Bookstore webpage and click “Reserve Materials.” (This link will appear on the picture with the Pioneer Pack logo that scrolls across the top of the bookstore homepage.) Login using your alabama.edu email and password to choose whether to pick up materials at the specified campus bookstore or have them shipped.
Excluded Courses
- Classes taught in person on a high school campus that have been reported as requiring no materials required are excluded from Pioneer Pack.
- When determining whether to opt out of Pioneer Pack do not factor in excluded courses.
