Jefferson State has signed and returned to the Department of Education the Certification and Agreement and the Assurance that the institution has used the applicable amount of funds designated under the CRRSAA and ARP (a)(1) and (a)(4) programs to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students.

How much CARES/CRRSAA Act emergency funding was provided to Jefferson State students for Spring 2021?
The College received and distributed a total of $1,864,939 in CRRSAA Student funds to student accounts. The College has also used remaining CARES Act Institutional funds to allow these grants to eligible students. These distributions were $500 per student and an additional $500 for students who receive PELL Grants. Checks were mailed to students at the current address on record or transferred to bank accounts provided by the student.

Jefferson State distributed Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students enrolled in credit and continuing education courses for the Spring 2021 term. The total number of students receiving these awards were 8092 for a total of $5,137,000.
