Deadlines and Priority Dates

May 15, 2026

Appeals – Financial aid appeal forms must be submitted to the Financial Aid Office by May 15, 2026. The appeal forms must be complete with all documentation attached.
The 2025-2026 FAFSA along with all transcripts and requested documentation must be submitted to the Financial Aid Office by May 15, 2026. Students who do not meet this requirement will be required to pay tuition and fees upfront. Once the students’ financial aid requirements are complete and if the student qualifies for federal aid, they will be reimbursed. No federal aid is guaranteed until the student’s file has been processed and determined eligibility to receive financial aid.

May 1, 2026 (Priority Deadline)

The 2026-2027 FAFSA form must be submitted to the U.S. Department of Education by May 1, 2026, to receive priority consideration for financial assistance (SEOG, College Work-Study, and Alabama State Grant) for the Fall 2026 semester or 26-27 academic year.

August 17, 2026
