Verification
If your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is selected for review in a process called verification, we will ask you to confirm the information you reported on the FAFSA. If a student is selected for verification, in addition to other documents, the following tax documents might be requested:

| Independent Student | 2021 Student Tax Return and 2021 Spouse Tax Return – if married |
| Dependent Student | 2021 Student Tax Return and 2021 Parents Tax Return |
To verify that you provided correct information, the Financial Aid Office will compare your FAFSA with the tax information and with any other requested documents. If there are differences, your FAFSA information may be corrected. Please be advised that missing documentation and/or unanswered questions will lengthen this process and delay receipt of federal aid funds.
