Deadlines and Priority Dates

May 1, 2025 (Priority Deadline)

The 2025-2026 FAFSA form must be submitted to the U.S. Department of Education by May 1, 2025, to receive priority consideration for financial assistance (SEOG, College Work-Study, and Alabama State Grant) for the Fall 2025 semester or 25-26 academic year.

August 8, 2025

Appeals – Financial aid appeal forms must be submitted to the Financial Aid Office by August 8, 2025. The appeal forms must be complete with all documentation attached.
The 2025-2026 FAFSA form along with all transcripts and requested documentation must be submitted to the Financial Aid Office by August 8, 2025. Students who do not meet this requirement will be required to pay tuition and fees upfront. Once the students’ financial aid requirements are complete and if the student qualifies for federal aid, they will be reimbursed. No federal aid is guaranteed until the student’s file is processed and determined eligibility to receive financial aid.

December 31, 2025
