Refunds are based on the first official day for the term and are not based on the first class day for individual courses.
Refund for Partial Withdrawal
During schedule adjustment when dropping and adding of individual courses are allowed, students may drop a course and receive a full refund for that course and its related fees only. There will be no refund to a student who partially withdraws after schedule adjustment has ended.
After the Schedule Adjustment Period Ends
Students may receive a prorated refund only if they COMPLETELY withdraw from ALL classes in which they are enrolled.
Students completely withdrawing from the College must submit a complete withdrawal form to Enrollment Services or one of the off-campus sites; you cannot do a complete withdrawal on the web after the term has begun. For any questions you may call the cashier’s office at (205) 856-7779.
Administrative Fee
An administrative fee not to exceed 5% shall be accessed for complete withdrawal.
Note: Tuition and Fees are subject to change by the Board of Trustees for the Alabama Community College System.
Fall 2025
The prorated refund will not apply to the Pioneer Pack fee. The last day to opt-out of Pioneer Pack for the Fall will be August 25, 2025.
Prorated Refund Schedule for Complete Withdrawal from Regular Fall Term:
- 50% of adjusted tuition & fees – Complete withdrawal from all courses following registration but at or before 12pm May 7, 2025
Prorated Refund Schedule for Complete Withdrawal from Regular Summer Term:
- 100% of adjusted tuition & fees – Complete withdrawal from all courses following registration but on or before August 17, 2025
- 75% of adjusted tuition & fees – Complete withdrawal from all courses following registration but on or before August 24, 2025
- 50% of adjusted tuition & fees – Complete withdrawal from all courses following registration but on or before August 31, 2025
- 25% of adjusted tuition & fees – Complete withdrawal from all courses following registration but on or before September 7, 2025
- Last day to completely withdraw from all courses during the Regular Fall Term with a prorated refund – September 7, 2025
Schedule Adjustment for Regular Fall Term Ends August 22, 2025.
Prorated Refund Schedule for Complete Withdrawal from Fall Five-Week Session I:
- 100% of adjusted tuition & fees – Complete withdrawal from all courses following registration but on or before August 17, 2025
- 75% of adjusted tuition & fees – Complete withdrawal from all courses following registration but on or before August 20, 2025
- 50% of adjusted tuition & fees – Complete withdrawal from all courses following registration but on or before August 23, 2025
- 25% of adjusted tuition & fees – Complete withdrawal from all courses following registration but on or before August 26, 2025
- Last day to completely withdraw from all courses during the Fall Five-Week Session I with a prorated refund – August 26, 2025
Schedule Adjustment for Fall Five-Week Session I Ends August 19, 2025.
Prorated Refund Schedule for Complete Withdrawal from Fall Eight-Week Session I:
- 100% of adjusted tuition & fees – Complete withdrawal from all courses following registration but on or before August 17, 2025
- 75% of adjusted tuition & fees – Complete withdrawal from all courses following registration but on or before August 21, 2025
- 50% of adjusted tuition & fees – Complete withdrawal from all courses following registration but on or before August 25, 2025
- 25% of adjusted tuition & fees – Complete withdrawal from all courses following registration but on or before August 29, 2025
- Last day to completely withdraw from all courses during the Fall Eight-Week Session I with a prorated refund – August 29, 2025

- 100% of adjusted tuition & fees – Complete withdrawal from all courses following registration but on or before September 23, 2025
- 75% of adjusted tuition & fees – Complete withdrawal from all courses following registration but on or before September 26, 2025
- 50% of adjusted tuition & fees – Complete withdrawal from all courses following registration but on or before September 29, 2025
- 25% of adjusted tuition & fees – Complete withdrawal from all courses following registration but on or before October 2, 2025
- Last day to completely withdraw from all courses during the Fall Five-Week Session II with a prorated refund – October 2, 2025

Prorated Refund Schedule for Complete Withdrawal from Fall Eight-Week Session II:
- 100% of adjusted tuition & fees – Complete withdrawal from all courses following registration but on or before October 9, 2025
- 75% of adjusted tuition & fees – Complete withdrawal from all courses following registration but on or before October 13, 2025
- 50% of adjusted tuition & fees – Complete withdrawal from all courses following registration but on or before October 17, 2025
- 25% of adjusted tuition & fees – Complete withdrawal from all courses following registration but on or before October 21, 2025
- Last day to completely withdraw from all courses during the Fall Eight-Week Session II with a prorated refund – October 21, 2025
Schedule Adjustment for Fall Eight-Week Session II Ends October 13, 2025.
Prorated Refund Schedule for Complete Withdrawal from Fall Five-Week Session III:
- 100% of adjusted tuition & fees – Complete withdrawal from all courses following registration but on or before October 28, 2025
- 75% of adjusted tuition & fees – Complete withdrawal from all courses following registration but on or before October 31, 2025
- 50% of adjusted tuition & fees – Complete withdrawal from all courses following registration but on or before November 3, 2025
- 25% of adjusted tuition & fees – Complete withdrawal from all courses following registration but on or before November 6, 2025
- Last day to completely withdraw from all courses during the Fall Five-Week Session II with a prorated refund – November 6, 2025
