Jefferson State’s Men’s and Women’s golf teams both placed second in recent tournaments.
The men’s team finished as runner-up in the NJCAA Golf Championship Preview held at Musgrove Country Club in Jasper.
Sophomore Dillon West, a transfer from Lincoln Memorial University, won the tournament overall individually.
Other team members for the tournament included Trey Rouse, Bryant Raynowska, Andrew Friend, and Ethan Deloney.
The women’s team finished second at the Wallace-Hanceville Women’s Invitational held at Cross Creek Golf Course in Hanceville.
Sophomore Hayley West placed fourth overall in the tournament individually.
Other team members included Elly Truxall, Jade Morris, Julee Turner and Miranda Nassif.
