In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Jeff State Pioneer Pantry will host two emergency food distributions the week after final exams. The first distribution is scheduled for Thursday, May 7th from 12:00-3:00 p.m.; the second will be on Saturday, May 9th from 12:00-3:00 p.m. Both will take place in front of the Fitzgerald Student Center on the Jefferson Campus (2601 Carson Road, Birmingham AL 35215).
In order to maintain social distancing protocols, we ask that all customers pull up in front of the Fitzgerald Student Center and remain safely inside their vehicles. We will distribute the bags using a drive-through system like the “curbside pickup” model adopted by most restaurants over the last month. Please note, too, that all food bags will be packed by persons wearing both protective masks and protective gloves.
