Requirements for Enrolling in ORI 110: Pioneer Pathways
Who Should Take ORI 110?
This course is best suited for students who are in their first year of college, although students may take the course at any time. Students enrolled in this course will learn about the support services Jefferson State offers and will develop a plan for academic success around those services. Students will discover career fields, salaries, and job demands for their major. Students will also develop a course plan that ends in an Associate of Arts, an Associate of Science, and/or transfer to a four-year institution.
Throughout the duration of the course, students receive one-on-one academic advising, regular interaction with their instructor, and opportunities to interact with faculty mentors in their major. ORI 110: Pioneer Pathways is a great first step to achieving your academic and professional goals.
Requirements for Enrollment in ORI 110:
- Enrolled in the transfer program, pursuing an AA degree, an AS degree, and/or transfer to a four-year institution
- Have not taken ORI 101 previously
