A webcam could be required to complete proctored course activities or to participate in course-related web conferences. Students who do not have a compatible webcam could be required to purchase a webcam. Students should confirm that a webcam is required before purchasing. Students with questions about webcam requirements should email instructors listed in the class schedule. Students should contact the department that schedules the course if no instructor is listed.

About Class Schedules
This listing of courses, times, days, and instructors is a tentative schedule and subject to change without notice. Classes may be cancelled due to low enrollment. Students are encouraged to register during early registration so that decisions regarding cancellation of classes may be made early enough to allow students to select other courses.
Some courses require prerequisites. Students are responsible for having the appropriate prerequisites. It is the student’s responsibility to satisfy course prerequisites. Failure to satisfy a prerequisite may result in course withdrawal. Transient and transfer students must present an official transcript or transient letter to document course prerequisites completed at other institutions prior to enrollment in selected courses. Prerequisites are printed in the JSCC catalog and online in the class schedule listing. When registering, or looking up classes online using My JSCC, click the CRN to see the prerequisite listing beneath the specific course title.
“Holds” are placed on a student’s record for traffic and library fines, returned checks and any other amounts owed to the College. Holds are also placed for admissions, student conduct and academic purposes. Holds must be removed before a student is allowed to register and may prevent release of a student’s academic transcripts.
Audit students must meet prerequisites for courses which have prerequisites. Tuition and fees for courses audited are the same as those for courses taken for credit. Students may not change from “Credit” to “Audit” or “Audit” to “Credit” after the Schedule/Adjustment period has ended.
