The Jefferson State Debate Team recently competed in two virtual debate tournaments: The Southern Forensics Championship in January and the Eddy Shell Invitational Tournament in February.
Jacob Davidson
In the Southern Forensics Championship in January, the team competed against 28 other colleges and universities. Team member Jacob Davidson made it to Octofinals in Novice IPDA Debate.
Kylie Jordan
At the Eddy Shell Invitational, Jacob Davidson had a perfect 6-0 record in preliminary competition and made it to the top 4 in Novice IPDA out of 46 debaters. In addition, Kylie Jordan broke into Octofinals in Novice IPDA at her first tournament. The Eddy Shell Invitational drew 28 colleges and universities across 12 states.
