Short Session Graphic 4 resized Fall 2020Jefferson State is proud to offer students more flexibility during the 2021 spring semester with Short Session I and Short Session II.
Registration is open now for both sessions! Explore the details below to see if the short sessions are for you!
  • Courses in the spring 2021 Short Sessions will last eight weeks (as opposed to 16 weeks for Full Term).
  • Since courses in the Short Session cover the same material and are taught with the same rigor as the Full Term, they will be faster paced than Full Term courses.
  • Some courses in the Short Session are being offered to provide an option for students to complete a sequence in one term (i.e. ENG 101 in Short Session I and ENG 102 in Short Session II).
  • Students do not have to enroll in Short Session I courses to be eligible for Short Session II as long as they meet all course perquisites.
