Associate in Applied Science degree programs for students who plan to complete an associate degree and go directly into the workforce rather than transfer to a 4-year university.

Courses completed for these programs may not transfer to a 4-year university as they are designed for employment rather than transferability. Each of our career programs have a faculty advisor available for you to contact to discuss the program in detail.
Transfer Degree Programs

Students can create an Alabama Transfers Agreement to guide them to choose courses that are guaranteed to transfer to public universities in Alabama.
What is Alabama Transfers?
Alabama Transfers is a website for students to browse degrees offered at Alabama public universities and create an official Transfer Agreement that guarantees transferability of coursework for your specific degree program. Students can complete the first two years of coursework for most bachelor’s degree programs at Jefferson State and then transfer to their chosen 4-year university to complete the last two years.
What is Degree Works?
Degree Works is a list of courses required to complete your degree. Login to myJSCC and click on View Audit in the Degree Progress box to view your Degree Works Audit. Students can use Degree Works, an Alabama Transfers Agreement, and our advisors to stay on track to earn your degree!
