Foundations for Nursing Success Registration

Registration for Spring 2027 Foundations for Nursing Success will start soon!

Foundations for Nursing Success is a non-credit, hybrid course designed to assist pre-nursing students in preparing for nursing school.

Topics covered include: Dose calculations, medical terminology, nursing ethics, and test-taking skills. Certificate received for successfully passing the course can be applied for credit on a student’s nursing program application. Spring 2027 FNS course starts in January 2027.

**Course requirements***

NEW: Students must have completed ENG 101 and MTH 100 or 108 with a C or higher to be eligible for Foundations for Nursing Success.

The course is taught in hybrid format. Students must be present online for the entire class time, with cameras on, to participate in activities. Additionally, there are 2 on-campus days required during the semester.
