Each year the partnership will provide up to 15 Jefferson State manufacturing students an opportunity for a paid 24-hour-a-week internship at Honda. Students will work as production interns while taking classes toward an associate in applied science degree. Classes are within Jefferson State’s Manufacturing Systems Technology AAS Degree option.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for our students and we are very excited about the partnership with Honda,” said Jefferson State Interim President Keith Brown. “The partnership helps students with their college costs and provides them with real-world training for in-demand employment.”
