Culinary Explorers 70th Anniversary LogoDue to the continuing COVID19 pandemic and in order to keep our students, faculty, and staff safe, JSCC-CHI has made the decision to suspend the 2020-2021 Culinary Explorers Program that is usually offered to our High School juniors and seniors during the Fall semester. We do apologize and will plan to offer the program next year for the 2021/2022 academic year.

Jefferson State Community College is excited to offer an informative and fun learning experience for high school students interested in the field of hospitality and culinary arts. Participants will learn from Chef Professors in Jefferson State’s award-winning Culinary & Hospitality Institute and enjoy hands-on learning activities and field trips around the community.

Students who are admitted into the program, will need to pay a $40 fee, which will cover registration in the Greater Alabama Council Explorer Program and liability insurance. Please make checks out to GAC. Students under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian. Continue to check our website for updates.
