Interested in a Health-Care Career?

CLT2The CLT department is offering a class that will introduce you to the techniques and skills needed by many healthcare professionals. CLT 131 is a course that is part of the Clinical Laboratory Technology degree plan and will count towards the Associate of Science degree in CLT. However, we are now offering the CLT 131 class to any student interested in a health career.

This class will focus on safety, pipetting and microscope techniques and concentrate heavily on venipuncture skills. Students wishing to become a Certified Phlebotomist can take CLT 100 during the summer semester and become eligible to sit for a national certification exam that will help gain entry level positions as a phlebotomist in a hospital or clinic setting.
