Eligibility Requirements*
To be eligible to participate in dual enrollment, you must
- Be in the 10th, 11th, or 12th grade
- Have a 2.5 unweighted GPA on a 4.0 scale
- Have approval of the high school counselor
*These criteria are issued through the State of Alabama. Some Local Education Authorities (LEA) may formulate their own eligibility criteria that is articulated through the dual enrollment agreement between JSCC and the LEA. In those cases, Jefferson State Community College will abide by the criteria outline in their agreement.
