Jefferson State has ten scholarships available for non-credit, Basic Welding. This course offers the nationally recognized NCCER credential.
Students will learn
- welding symbols, reading welding detail drawings,
- physical characteristics and mechanical properties of metals,
- preheating of metals, post heating of metals, and so much more.
Class Date
- Classes begin April 2-July 25 and are held every Monday & Wednesday night from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. on the Jefferson Campus.
Once you complete this 18 week course, you will have the knowledge to go out and start your professional career in the welding industry.
