Jefferson State’s Construction and Building Science Technology Program welcomed Brasfield & Gorrie, a leader in the construction industry, to campus this week to share information about the construction industry and career opportunities for students.
With more than 3,500 employees, Brasfield and Gorrie is one of the largest privately held construction firms in the nation and is consistently ranked among the nation’s top contractors by Engineering News-Record, ENR Southeast, Building Design + Constructions, and Modern Healthcare magazine.
Brasfield and Gorrie Director of Business Development Carter Frierson and Field Recruiter Hannah Sharp shared information about the types of projects they execute, employment opportunities, and their company’s mission. Students engaged with Mr. Frierson and Ms. Sharp and learned valuable information about the industry and career advancement.
The Construction and Building Science Technology Program plans to have representatives from Brasfield and Gorrie visit the program each semester. To learn if this Jefferson State program is right for you, contact Mike Safavi at [email protected] or call (205) 856-7847.
