Jefferson State Construction Management Student Joseph Seagle recently won the 2020 Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) Howard and Juanita Savage Academic Scholarship.

Seagle is one of only two recipients of the AGC scholarship given each year statewide.

“All of us at Jefferson State are very proud of Joseph Seagle and his accomplishments,” said Jefferson State Construction and Building Science Technology Coordinator Dr. Mike Safavi. “This is a tremendous honor and Joseph truly deserves it.”

Seagle is a second-year Construction Management student and an aspiring full-time intern employer with Morrow Railroad Builders. He also serves as the AGC Student Chapter President at Jefferson State.

“Construction Management Students at Jefferson State have been successful recipients of four AGC scholarship awards in the past six years,” said Safavi. “These awards and honors illustrate Jefferson State’s Construction Management students are capable and well prepared to compete and win against any four-year university students and other academic institutions. I am proud of our students and wish them continual success.”
