On September 20, Jefferson State and the Boy Scouts of America kicked-off another year of fun learning experiences for high school students interested in the field of hospitality and culinary arts.

During the year, participants will learn from Chef Professors in Jefferson State’s award-winning Culinary & Hospitality Institute and enjoy hands-on learning activities and field trips around the community.

The Boy Scouts of America began this program to not only educate young people about career opportunities, but also to teach them about making ethical choices in order to achieve their full potential as individuals. Students will not only chop, cook and bake, but will also learn to dine with proper etiquette, set goals, and learn conflict resolution.

More information on Culinary Explorers can be found here and the upcoming calendar of events here. Connect with the program through the explorer’s FaceBook page.
