The Jefferson State Debate Team competed with 18 other colleges and universities in a virtual debate tournament, hosted by Abilene Christian University on December 4-5. In the novice division, Emmy Rains made it into octofinals in her first tournament and Kylie Jordan was a quarterfinalist. In addition, Team Captain Jacob Davidson was ranked the 3rd highest-ranked speaker in the junior varsity division.
