Jefferson State Hosts Robofest

DSC 0199Robofest (supported by Lawrence Technological University) is a festival of competitions and events with autonomous robots that encourages students to have fun while learning principles of STEAM, robotics, and Computer Science including AI.

The competition categories were for sixth through 12th grade students. Student teams were composed of up to five members each and participated in a variety of events.

The categories were:

  • Exhibition. Teams competed at local or online qualifiers, or through video submission, to advance to the Robofest World Championship. Each team had freedom to create interactive and intelligent robotics projects such as robots for scientific experiments and robots for practical applications.
  • Game. Teams competed at local qualifiers, or through video submission, to advance to the Robofest World Championship Finals
