Latest CDL Training Program Graduates Honored

The latest class to complete Jefferson State’s CDL Training Program was honored during a ceremony on Wednesday, June 14, at the college’s Chilton-Clanton Campus.

The graduates are:

  • Chad Ray
  • Clyde Barnett
  • Curtis Sherman
  • Demetrius Lambert
  • Devan Bone
  • Garret Fore
  • James (Jim) Moxley
  • Montrice LeMaster
  • Quinace O’Neal
  • Timothy Porter
  • Zechariah Bazzano

Leah Bigbee with the Jefferson State Center for Workforce Education welcomed those in attendance before remarks from Mark Colson, president of the Alabama Trucking Association.

Training Coordinator Alex Blevins and Career Coach Deborah Foster presented certificates.

Tim Frazier, vice president of safety and compliance for ATA, and Clanton Mayor Jeff Mims also addressed the graduates.

Community and industry partners include the Appalachian Regional Commission, the City of Clanton, Waste Management, Birmingham Jefferson County Transit Authority, Wood Fruitticher, and Spire.
