Men's Golf Team Wins Fall Tournament

Jefferson State’s men’s golf team won The Dan York Memorial Golf Tournament hosted by Wallace State Community College at Cross Creek Golf Course Nov. 5-7.

Taking home individual honors were Bryant Raynowska and Dillon West.

Raynowska finished as low medalist, posting the best individual score among all golfers at 4 under for the tournament. Raynowska made an eagle on the final hole to secure the individual title.

West also finished T-4 and was named to the All-Tournament team.

Also competing for the team were Andrew Friend, Trey Rouse and Nathan Fernandez. Trey Shockley competed as an individual.

The Jefferson State team led by one stroke after the first round of play, and finished the tournament with a three-stroke victory over runner-up, Calhoun Community College.
