The graduates are:
– John Bolton

“These students are fully trained and ready for work in a new career,” said Alex Blevins, training coordinator for Jefferson State’s Center for Workforce Education.

The program is generously funded by the Appalachian Regional Commission.

Community and industry partners including the City of Clanton, Waste Management, Birmingham Jefferson County Transit Authority, Wood Fruitticher, and Spire are critical to the program’s success, and had representatives present for the graduation ceremony, said Leah Bigbee, director of the Center for Workforce Education.

Wood Fruitticher donated a trailer to be used by students in the program.

“Jefferson State greatly appreciates our partnership with Wood Fruitticher and all of their support of our CDL program,” said Bigbee. “Their trailer donation has made a big difference in our students getting the training they need to be successful.”
