Native Spanish Program — Maximo Nivel provides an authentic immersion experience that takes you beyond the university classroom—it’s the most intensive and professional Spanish program available in Latin America! At Maximo Nivel, you can take your Spanish language skills to a whole new level, which pushes you beyond your comfort zone and forces you to apply your studies inside and outside of the classroom.
Learn Spanish in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica with experienced, certified, native Spanish instructors. Students are split according to level in small group classes for 2 hours per day. Additional cultural and social activities in the afternoons and evenings include salsa dance classes, and cooking classes. Spanish classes focus on the Communicative Method of language teaching, which immerses students in spoken Spanish—students are always speaking in class. The immersion experience is further enhanced by living with a local host family.

Tandem Conversation — Maximo Nivel’s Tandem Conversation program is a free language and cultural exchange where we match you with local ESL students for conversation practice in Spanish/English. The Tandem program gives all students unequaled access to the most important resource for learning a language—native speakers!
