Jefferson State’s women’s golf team recently won the Snead State Invitational tournament at Eagle’s Nest Golf Course in Guntersville.
The team took a commanding early lead of 37 strokes after the first round of play and never looked back.
Hayley Morris, a sophomore studying biology, took first place individually in the tournament.
Miranda Nassif, a first-year student studying business, finished in second place.
