Scholarships
Jefferson State offers scholarships to dual enrollment students enrolled in specific Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, STEM, and/or general education classes. These scholarships can be combined. Scholarship applications are not required. All students enrolled in eligible classes will have scholarships automatically applied.
50% off Course Tuition and Fees for General Education Classes
Dual Enrollment students enrolled in a general education class will receive 50% OFF the course tuition and fees. (Students participating in the Pioneer Pack program are responsible for 100% of the Pioneer Pack fee.) This scholarship can be used in conjunction with STEM and CTE. 100% Career and Technical Education (CTE) Scholarship
If you are a dual enrollment student participating in one of the Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs listed below, you are eligible for the CTE Dual Enrollment Scholarship. This scholarship covers course tuition and fees for select program-specific classes each semester. Textbooks are provided through the Pioneer Pack program.*

- Computer Information Systems Technology
- Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement
- Culinary & Hospitality Institute
- Emergency Medical Services (seniors only; must be 17 when clinicals start)
- Manufacturing and Technology
- Mechatronics
- Welding Technology
- Office Administration Technology
100% STEM Scholarship
If you are a dual enrollment student taking a STEM class, you are eligible for the Dual Enrollment STEM Scholarship. This scholarship covers tuition, fees, and textbooks for classes in the subject areas listed below. Textbooks are provided through the Pioneer Pack program.*
- Astronomy (AST)
- Biology (BIO)
- Chemistry (CHM)
- Physical Science (PHS)
- Physics (PHY)
- Math (MTH)
- Computer Science (CIS)
Course Descriptions and Current College Catalog
*The CTE and STEM Scholarships will pay 100% of the Pioneer Pack fees for classes covered under these scholarships ONLY. Students taking classes not covered under the CTE and/or STEM Scholarship are responsible for 100% of the Pioneer Pack fees for those classes. Students who opt out of Pioneer Pack are responsible for required textbooks for ALL classes, even those covered under the CTE and STEM Scholarship.
