Public Safety Career Fair

Blue flasher light of siren of police carJefferson State will hold its first Public Safety Career Fair to provide an opportunity for students and the public to learn more about various public safety careers and engage with industry leaders in the areas of law enforcement, the court system, dispatch, and private security.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 8, in the Multipurpose Room of the Judy Merritt Health Sciences Building on Jefferson State’s Shelby-Hoover Campus. A question-and-answer session with representatives of local, state, and federal agencies will be held from 10-11 a.m., followed by interview/meet-and-greet sessions from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
