  • As a FastTrack student, upon successfully completing any FastTrack course, a student is granted the opportunity to apply for a 3-hour class credit.

Nancy Brown Memorial Scholarship

The Nancy Brown Memorial Scholarship is awarded to single parents pursuing one of the college’s short-term, workforce programs. JSCC President Keith A. Brown established this scholarship in memory of his late mother. This competitive scholarship provides financial resources to deserving students facing economic hardship and immediate monetary needs that, if not met, could result in an inability to complete classes or a program. Applications for future scholarship awards can be submitted here. The scholarship will be awarded annually, and applications reviewed on a rolling basis. Short-Term Credential Scholarship Program Grant:
  • Program Objective: Reimburses students who complete a short-term credential program in two semesters or less.
  • Qualifying Program Requirements:
  • Complete an online application for Short-Term Credential Scholarship funds.
  • Pay for all costs upfront; reimbursement will be provided upon successful completion of the training program.
  • The training program must lead to earning a short-term credential.
