Is Jefferson State the first college you’ve ever attended? Do you plan to transfer from Jefferson State to a 4-year institution? ORI 110: Freshman Seminar: Pioneer Pathways is for you!
Students enrolled in this course will learn about all the support services Jefferson State offers and develop a plan for academic success around those services. Students will also discover career fields, salaries, and job demands for their major. Once a best-suited career path is identified, students will develop a course plan that ends in an Associate in Arts or an Associate in Science two-year transfer degree.
Throughout the duration of the course, students will receive one-on-one academic advising, regular interaction with their instructor, and opportunities to interact with faculty mentors in their major. The new ORI 110 Freshman Seminar: Pioneer Pathways course is a great first step to achieving your academic and professional goals.
The next ORI 110: Freshman Seminar: Pioneer Pathways course will begin Aug. 17, and will be offered in an online format.
